Dear patients, neighbors and friends,

In light of these trying times, we are constantly making adjustments and modifying our clinic practices to accommodate and adjust for the COVID-19 pandemic. Information is changing daily here in our region. At the time of this communication, we now have over 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Daviess County.

Because of the concern for the need for social distancing, we will make the following adjustments:

Thursday, March 26, 2020, we will see a few patients in the office and administer allergy shots using our same shot schedule.

Starting next week, we will be offering Telehealth appointments for established and new patients who wish to utilize this platform as opposed to a face-to-face visit. This will allow us to help patients get questions answered, refills sent to the pharmacy, and then schedule in officevisit/procedures once restrictions have been lessened. We will be using the platform Doxy.me.

NO allergy shots for inhalants or venoms will be given the week of 3/30/2020-4/3/2020. We will have a shot holiday for next week.  There is no need to worry about falling behind here. We will get you caught up once restrictions have been lifted. Saturday morning shot clinic will be canceled until further notice.

Biologic therapies such as Xolair, Fasenra, Nucala, Cinqair, and Dupixent will be given as scheduled for now. Please call ahead to let us know you plan to come for your injection or infusion.

All patients coming to the office will be screened at the front door per current recommendations.

If you have appointments coming up, our staff will be contacting you to see if you would indeed like to utilize the Doxy.me Telehealth option. If not an option that you would prefer, we will get you rescheduled at your convenience. In office visits will be very limited starting next week.

We do not have the ability to test for COVID-19.  All testing is currently being done at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

We appreciate your patience as we all work through this very frustrating period. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you and your families. Stay safe.
