We are opening the shot room on April 6, 2020, and will resume our normal shot schedule.  However, Saturday shot clinic will be closed for the rest of the month of April.  In order to accommodate our shot patients in a safe environment, we are incorporating some changes in the way we administer injections.

1. When you arrive at our office for your injection, please remain in your car and call (270) 302-7798 to check in for your shot.  This number is being monitored by our shot room team.  Once you call to check in, you will now be in the shot room queue and our staff will call you on your phone when it is time for you to come in and receive your shot.  Please wait in your vehicle until it is time for you to come into our office and receive your shot.

2.  After your injection is administered, you can wait in our lobby or in an exam room.  We will be observing social distancing.  Shot patients will be the only patients in our office as we are conducting regular office visits via telemedicine.  WE WILL NOT ALLOW PATIENTS TO WAIT IN THEIR VEHICLES.  This is NOT safe and waiting in vehicles post injection is not supported by guidelines set forth by the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.

We will have two shot room staff to try to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible however, because of the changes we have had to make, there may be an increase in wait time before and after injections.  Please know that your health and safety is the number one concern and we will try to get everyone in and out as soon as possible.

If you do not want to get out, and you feel uncomfortable coming into the office to get a shot, please contact our office and we will adjust your dose as needed.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!
